It’s no secret.
The best activity for developing a better first touch is simply kicking a ball against a wall.
A player should spend hundreds of hours doing this.
Kick it hard. Kick it soft. Kick it in the air. Kick it on the ground.
Kick it from close up. Kick it from far away.
Receive it with the inside of the foot. Receive it with the outside of the foot. The top. The bottom.
Do all of that again for the opposite foot.
There are so many variations and combinations that a player can eventually graduate to. The possibilities are endless.
