If you want to make it as a player, you don’t need to be better.
You need to be undeniably better.
When the time comes to make a decision, a coach should have no doubt that you’re the person for the job.
You are going to have to prove yourself throughout your entire career.
Wherever you play, you’re going to have to:
- Make the team
- Earn your minutes
- Lock down your spot
You are going to have to go through this process over and over and over again. Season after season.
And don’t forget… other people are going to be competing for that same exact spot.
So, no matter what your situation is – U10 all-stars, club, high school, college, or professional – you do not need to be better than the other players.
You need to be undeniably better.
