Dembele’s Epic Fail at His Barcelona Presentation
As referenced in the podcast, Ousmane Dembele, who was purchased from Dortmund reportedly for over $100 million, could barely juggle the ball during his presentation.
A 13 year old American who’s been practicing and doing personal training could juggle better.
But therein lies the point. As Johan Cruyff once said, and we agree:
“Technique is not being able to juggle a ball 1000 times. Anyone can do that by practicing. Then you can work in the circus. Technique is passing the ball with one touch, with the right speed, at the right foot of your team mate.”
