That is simply not true.

When I saw that tweet, it reminded me of how many conversations I have had with Brian over the years and how many times he has used the word protagonist. So, I decided it was time to let you in on a little secret.

For quite awhile, Brian and I have been recording phone calls during which we talk about his development as a coach and what he values. I spent months picking him apart with questions about his processes, his successes, and his failures.
